PER BAG. Y 4117 To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} From Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} c. to Bs.{A J. Barnes - Assistant Manager} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/MJ.17.6.32. MR. KAYE DON P.11 34-JS.{Mr Johnson's Secretary} Bs.{A J. Barnes - Assistant Manager}4/KH.15.6.32. We have already mentioned to you that Mr. Kaye Don has complained about the steering and brakes on his P.11 car. To satisfy his requirements we suggest we fit to his car a "shimmy shackle" and ribbed cast iron drums (as fitted to Mr. Fairey's). We should like your agreement. We understand Mr. Kaye Don proposes to take this car to U.S.A., it is a good propaganda car for R.R. and therefore it is in our interests to see that it is satisfactory. We understand he proposes to hand the car over to us on Monday. We should be glad if Sales will arrange to send it to Derby. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
