BY4-P3.2.22. contd. - 2 - (8) Shock Absorbers. We are allowed three weeks for W.W. and Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}, to make some definite recommendation, which would enable us at the end of that time to issue modifications immediately for production. (9) Instrument Board. I have promised that we will detail this by Wednesday next, and it should be issued for production at once, as well as for experimental and the three special chassis. (10) Battery & Fittings. This has been dealt with already, by ordering 25 P & R, and 25 C.A.V. Willard, but Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}, remarked to me this morning that he thought the terminals came on the wrong side of the battery as at present arranged. (11) Horn. This will be detailed and instructed up for production as soon as available. (12) Wiring. We have no instructions for the dashboard wiring yet and it will be necessary for us to jog Elliott's memory about this matter, as we are now able to fit up an experimental chassis with the general wiring until we know something more about what is proposed on the dashboard. (13) Electrical Equipment. The whole of the Electrical Equipment is being instructed to production as it becomes available from the Drawing Office. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} | ||
