They are, however, wearing rapidly, even with the increased lines on the front.

The brakes were never abused during the run.

(6) GEARBOX.

There is no syncromesh on second speed.

(7) STEERING.

The steering is now a little too directionally suitable and a little too heavy to operate.

We should like the pivot-lean and tow-in to be checked with a view to improving this feature.

(8) HAND THROTTLE.

The hand throttle control is bad. It does not begin to open until the lever is more than half way up the quadrant and then is too sudden.

(9) GENERAL SMOOTHNESS.

There are one or two slight periods but on the whole the engine mounting is very good.
