In view of our conversation on Saturday morning, we are arranging to machine 25 sets of parts for the 40 mm. gun only at the present moment. We are, however, ordering material for 50 guns. Owing to the extreme shortage of gun boring and rifling capacity, we shall get the 50 barrels completed in one batch, if we can get Nottingham to do the job.
