TO Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}

FROM PN.{Mr Northey}

CJ. agrees with me that it would be very useful from various aspects if I were to take one of our 40/50 HP models, having our complete system of 4-wheel brakes, with me to the Grand Prix at the beginning of August. The Race, I think, is on the 3rd August.

There will be a large number of motor enthusiasts and such going both by road and train to see this classis event.

It is important that the car provided for this purpose, should not only be O.K. as a chassis, but that the general appearance should be attractive.

I shall be glad to hear from you what car you think could be worked into shape for this purpose I anticipate you have an Open Touring body being used in connection with your experiemtnal work which would lend itself for this purpose, and there would be time to have this re-painted and varnished and generally made attractive.

I shall be pleased to have any remarks from you on the matter generally.

(PN.{Mr Northey})
