Re: The Duke of Kent's car - B.142.HK.{Col. T. Harker - Sales}

The second Chauffeur brought the car to the Depot yesterday for a small job to be done. He was asked if it was possible to have the car in for a modification, and he replied we could have it anytime giving a days notice, as the Duke was very pleased with his Phantom III, and used it more than the Bentley.

What we want to do, is to get the large oil pump fitted, but as previously reported to you, the oil consumption was down to 260 m.p.g. and further modifications are necessary with the fitting of the large oil pump.

We should be pleased to hear whether you consider the complete modifications should be carried out, or to what extent we should go to.
