Bearing Material.

In accordance with a request we have received from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} will you please instruct for the following to be produced and despatched to :-

Mr. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Arnold.
Cadillac Motor Car Co. Ltd.,
Detroit,
Michigan.
U.S.A.

(1) 3 castings in AC.6 material cast in the pot which is used for Bentley bearings.

(2) Leaving the inside bore as cast, machine an inch off the top, this being the poor end of the casting, which will leave 6" of material for making bearings.

(3) Machine the external dia. to 2.75" dia.

Submit these bars of material to Hl. for initial heat treatment and confirmation of analysis before being despatched.
