X.3014 b. Lucas Dynamos.

I confirm mine Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}9/NJ19.6.20.

We are now in receipt of a further letter from the Lucas Electrical Co.Ltd. dated 19th inst. re chassis dynamos, as follows:-

"We were able to despatch by your lorry yesterday "52 machines, 30 of which were provided with the new "Terminal Block as arranged according to your drawings, "and the rest were fitted with the old Terminal Block.

"It was agreed that the introduction of the "modification should be brought about as soon as possi- "ble without jeopardizing output, and it will be "necessary for a further small quantity of the old type "machines to be sent through with the next delivery.

"It would appear that we shall be able to deliver "you a larger quantity than 75 Machines next week and "we will advise you in the early part the exact number "we shall deliver."

I regret that such a small proportion of the dynamos collected on Friday, 18th inst. are provided with the new terminal block, and I also regret to note that a further number of dynamos will be delivered this week with the old terminal block.

Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}
