LATEST TYPE SPRING DRIVE. X4222 We have found that on the two engines we have been running this latest type spring drive, the friction damping plate which is held on to the spring drive by means of a cone and nut, has worked loose. In one case it sheared the locking plate of the nut. We have suggested that this plate should be fixed by means of woodruff keys as well as the taper in the nut. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
