and the engine breather.

(6) Valve Rocker Gear. - The existing design of self-adjusting tappet gears should satisfy all requirements provided the improved pistons do not give way under the pressure from the valve gear. These modified pistons should be on test very shortly.

(7) Camshaft and Cam Forms. - Some new valve lift curves are required, based on the latest recommendations from the Experimental Department. LeC. drawings will be put in hand for these forthwith.

(8) Petrol Pump. - A modified design is required of the Petrol Pump to include all the latest modifications.

(9) Exhaust System. - It is clear that some modifications will be required, but these will be settled as soon as the results from Peregrine have been obtained of the anti-resonant silencer, and the new method of mounting on links.

(10) Radiator. - Yes. By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} will instruct the radiator with Marston matrix as being the best obtainable at the moment. The radiator design should be altered so that the matrix can be reduced in depth 15%. The external appearance of the radiator should be left unaltered at the moment.

(11) Radiator Shutters. - These should be to the new drawn tubular section - solid drawn in Brass.

(12) Water Drain. - Some modification is required to the scheme of operation of the water drain tank to render it more safe against undoing itself or being inadvertently used.

(13) Oil Relief Unit. - This unit is interchangeable with that used on Peregrine, and hence there is the same problem to be solved in connection with the operation of the extra oil. This part will therefore
