Re: Piston Rings in Special metal X3185
We have finished 2 sets of Piston Rings in Special metal supplied by Messrs Stubbs the Hammering Operation is the only one that is likely to present any trouble & on these Rings we find about the same percentage of breakages as on Standard.
Mr Hives will confirm this.
We can find no advantage or disadvantage in this metal.
