Be Worm Axle.

The oil filler should be made higher so as to get more oil in the case. In any further tests with this axle more oil should be inserted. The level should be raised at least 1".

Also tests should be made to see if the cross tie rod can be done away with. Should there be a scrap cast-ing available (?sound), fix the tubes and support the axle at both ends of the tube, and load the centre, and note strength deflection etc., and test which part gives way first.
