Troubles experienced with standardised parts not included in the list of special features.

Excessive wear in link between engine and cantilever pedal shaft.
The link is in mild steel. Hardened ends or bushes are required.

Insulated sparking plug terminals pulling out of H.T. cables.
This has been taken up with the electrical section.

Hot starting difficulty but no worse than standard.
Work is in progress on a carburettor with modifications to improve this.

The connecting link fractured, which is used with the stronger throttle spring Lev 5555.
This was recently standardised but not yet on production. The wire is to be increased from 18 to 16 S.W.G.

Gear box - engine stay. The rear eye worked loose in the stay. The plug in the gear box worked loose.
The eye is to be locked where it enters the tube. A modified locking plate has been produced for the plug.

Fracture of internal arm of C.S.R. shock damper.
This is an isolated failure and not considered serious.

W.T.13 horn bracket fractured.
The fracture occured across a hole drilled at the weakest place. The position of the hole is to be changed.

Oil leaks past oil seals on rear axle driving shaft.
This only appears to occur with exceptionally high axle temperatures reached when car is driven at maximum speed for prolonged periods. Neoprene seals are to be tried.
