wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} c. to D.BF. c. to EHC. RE. CHASSIS 14 - PP. Clyde Auto. Shipping Office ref. D/BP/LH{Mr Haworth}3/B6.4.22. We have received from the above 1 - 2 volt Exide Cell alleged to be faulty. This has been dismantled and upon examination the positive plates were found to be badly buckled and broken. No ebonite separators are fitted, this cell being ex. an old type battery. As far as our records show this battery has been in use since May 1920, we are therefore very doubtful whether the Chloride Co., will agree to renovate free of charge. We understand that the Clyde Auto Co., are returning the remainder of the battery but we wish if possible to treat the above as a separate matter. Will Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}, kindly note we have prepared this cell for the examination of the Chloride Co's., representative. R.R.Ltd EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} | ||
