CLUTCHES.

There has been an increase with the Borg & Beck clutch complaints, the chief fault being a fierce engagement. Examination has found the setting of the operating fingers not even. These have been returned to the Works for re-adjustment. The centre plate with Thermoid linings is now standard, and all replacements in future will have this modification.

BATTERY.

There have been two cases of faulty lightened type batteries. These were returned to the Works, and the investigation in conjunction with the makers proved faulty manufacture.
