To RG.{Mr Rowledge} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} 74196 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/LG17.1.28 SPARKING PLUGS FOR F.XI & F.XII. X1918 X4196 Experience in the air has shewn that we can to advantage used a hotter plug than we can on the bench. We therefore recommend that we replace the R.11s by R.12 type of plug. The R.12 should be the short type i.e. the same length as the present R.11 which we are using, otherwise there will probably be difficulty with clearance between the cowling and the plug. As regards the sparking plugs for the F.12 engine. These will be K.L.G.F12 type. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
