- 2 - With reference to the ½ gallon recoil fluid can, to obtain particulars of a suitable can, we paid a visit to Messrs. Daltons (Silkolene) Co., of Belper, who provided us with a sample which we are handing to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} This, we are given to understand, is a standard type, and can be obtained from any of the following firms :- Reads Ltd., 21, Bridgewater Street, Liverpool. British Can Co., Breeze Lane, Walton, Liverpool 9. F.{Mr Friese} Atkins Co., Ltd., Gipsyville, Hull. The latter firm were recommended for quick delivery. The price given for these tins was approximately 120/- per gross. It is thought that this type of can will eliminate the oil funnel which Ve/HP suggested should be provided.
