5. - A funnel for pouring in the cooling liquid.
6. - In case of need, a funnel for pouring lubricant into the fuel in the case of competitors taking advantage of this facility.

Exceptionally, but only in the presence of a Steward, a competitor may exchange the extinguisher placed on board if same has been used.

Each replenishment must be simultaneous as regards cooling liquid, fuel and oil. Partial replenishment is prohibited.

The control seals may only be removed and replaced in the presence of a race Steward or of a deputy-Steward, the penalty being possible disqualification.

The draining off of oil from the housings on the track is forbidden. The first infraction will entail a fine of Frs 250, a second infraction a fine of Frs 500, on the third infraction the car will be withdrawn from the race.

The use of any other means of lighting than those provided on the car for working on the car is prohibited.

In the case of petrol being spilt on the track; the car may only be started up if it has been pushed by the drivers or by the driver and his assistant outside the area considered as dangerous. At the point indicated by the Steward the engine may then be started up.

Any competitor failing to comply with the instructions of the Stewards or getting away by surprise will be disqualified.

As drivers may only replenish at minimum intervals of twenty-four laps, if a vehicle has replenished after a number of laps greater than twenty-four, its following replenishment may only be made after another twenty-four laps have been covered. (Example if a competitor refuels after completing the twenty-seventh lap he may not refuel again until after he has completed the fifty-first lap).

During the discharge of their duties it is forbidden for the Race Stewards, the deputy Stewards and seal affixers assisting them, to smoke.

This prohibition applies to drivers and to all assistants.

A special Steward shall be appointed for checking the condition of the seals and of their marks during stoppages at the pits. This check will be made exclusively during the periods of stoppage.

It is forbidden to use funnels for filling the tanks with fuel; moreover, as regards fuel, such funnels would duplicate the distributing appliances as stated in article 8 M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore}

The prohibition of funnels only applies to the filling of the tanks with fuel.

Consequently a funnel for filling the oil tank and a funnel for filling with cooling liquid may be placed at the disposal of the two drivers or of one driver and his assistant, if required, on the shelf of the pit in the same manner and under the same conditions as the oil, cooling liquid and spare wheel.

The use of protable electric torches or pocket lamps is authorised only so long as they are taken on board and not from the pit.
