In reply to Hm {Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} /FHA5/EW10.1.27 and EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 2/T8.1.27
concerning the 20-HP Exide Battery, removed from chassis
GYK-40; and returned to makers for rectification.

The Chloride Electrical Storage Co.Ltd. inform
us that they duly received the battery at their works, and
after inspection by their Engineers it was decided to submit
same to some tests before opening it up. These are at
present being carried out, and they will endeavour to
write us again in the course of the next few days.
