Rolls-Royce, Ltd., DERBY. Attention:- Mr. F.J. Hardy. Dear Sirs, We regret to learn from your letter of 6th. August that you have observed that our tyres have recently been more prone to squeal when cornering than the original samples of the same pattern. We have not noticed anything similar and preliminary consideration of the point has not indicated any reason for a change in the cornering properties of these tyres. In order therefore that we may investigate this matter further, we should like to learn whether this increased tendency to squeal at corners is noticeable with new tyres or only develops as the tyres wear down. We should also like to examine, if this is convenient, any tyres which you may have found particularly noisy in this way; will it be possible for you to send a few samples for our inspection? Yours faithfully, THE AVON INDIA RUBBER COMPANY LIMITED. J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} Mackay DEVELOPMENT MANAGER AND CHIEF CHEMIST, | ||
