ESTONIAN FUEL - SHALE BENZINE Further to our Lr{Mr Ellor}/Dor.{Mr Dorey}6/ADL2.6.33, we have now received knock rating test results on the above fuel and we should like you to test out the following mixtures on a Kestrel S. engine to determine (1) Effect on fuel consumption and jet settings. (2) Detonation. (3) Altered ignition setting, if any. (4) Power. The mixtures are as follows :- (a) Each sample with 4 ccs. TEL/gall. (b) Each sample with 10% Methyl Alcohol + 1.5 ccs/TEL/gall. According to laboratory tests, the above mixtures give 76 octane rating at 212°F.{Mr Friese} YNG Lr{Mr Ellor}/Dor.{Mr Dorey} LB | ||
