ESTONIAN FUEL - SHALE BENZINE

Further to our Lr{Mr Ellor}/Dor.{Mr Dorey}6/ADL2.6.33, we have now received knock rating test results on the above fuel and we should like you to test out the following mixtures on a Kestrel S. engine to determine

(1) Effect on fuel consumption and jet settings.
(2) Detonation.
(3) Altered ignition setting, if any.
(4) Power.

The mixtures are as follows :-

(a) Each sample with 4 ccs. TEL/gall.
(b) Each sample with 10% Methyl Alcohol + 1.5 ccs/TEL/gall.

According to laboratory tests, the above mixtures give 76 octane rating at 212°F.{Mr Friese}
