Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}..from PN.{Mr Northey} Copy to Works F.{Mr Friese} H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} X1282 PN.{Mr Northey}3/WT4.7.33. We are informed that a new law in France bars the sale of petrol unless it has at least 16% of alcohol in it, and our information is that the effect of this fuel is to gum up the valves etc. We already have serious complaints in respect of the unpleasant smell arising from the use of Esso. Under these circumstances we appear to be somewhat up a gum-tree and shall be glad to have your remarks on the point. PN.{Mr Northey} | ||
