----------------
We have received from the above owner 1 - EXIDE 5-1. Exide Battery alleged to be faulty ex. his car number 20-TW.

This battery has been examined and we find that 3 of the cells are in a serviceable condition but the paste is loose. The remaining three cells have badly buckled plates, also 1 of the cell cases are broken. No ebonite separators are fitted, we therefore suggest that the question of payment for repairs is held in abeyance until the Chloride representative has made an inspection of the battery.
