S/W. ...from PN.{Mr Northey} Copy to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Mr. ABR{A. B. Roberts} Gee [text struck through] 87960 PN.{Mr Northey}10/WT16.1.33. 46-MS. Continental Trials Car. With further reference to my PN.{Mr Northey}13/PH13.1.33 this car is being driven to W. to-day. I anticipate that the Experimental Dept. will take steps to form an opinion as to whether what I described as a "bad booming tendency" can be put down to the exhaust system or engine boom, or both. We understand that the work which may be decided upon as being necessary will be carried out by the Repair Dept. It should be understood that we are anxious that this car should be in our hands again by Saturday next. PN.{Mr Northey} | ||
