quarter gives you.

Personally I prefer the latter, and I believe you do also, but I am sure you will agree that there is no reason why, when launching a new non-sports car, we should add to our difficulties by standardising a Four-light, which would amount to pioneering, nor do I see why we should try to re-educate the public, especially when in launching this car we are doing so entirely with a view to obtaining volume.

Next time you are in London, I should like you just to take the trouble to go round the West End and one or two of the car parks, or even sit in Hyde Park for an hour, and I am sure you would be equally convinced.

In view of this I have asked Park Wards to give us a design of a body on the basis of your large drawing which you gave me the other day, showing us what they would recommend as being the best compromise for a Six-light body out of which we can get a reasonably good Four-light one.

You will remember that your drawing showed a more attractive Four-light, out of which I think you agreed one could not get a Six-light, and I suggest that you might put Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} on the same job, and then out of the two efforts we can probably arrive at the best compromise.
