By.l/N.15.3.35, we have examined the photostat of the suggested improvement to Cadillac Automatic Tappets together with the accompanying copy of the letter from General Motors, but do not think that this scheme will be of interest to us. It amounts in principle to the plunger ball valve scheme which we originally used on Phantom and VultureExperimental 6 CYL OHV LONG STROKE / Aero Engine Automatic Tappets, and is subject to the same disadvantages which caused us to drop this scheme.
