X.3513 - RE BAKELITE MOULDS.

With reference to the coil cases I should think it is no use waiting any longer for the B.T.H. unless they can shew you the moulds nearing completion. I should cancel these, as we have been on and off with these people for years, to try and get bakelite mouldings At the moment I should not spend any further money on mouldings for these coils, but obtain them (the mouldings) from U.S.A.

Regarding Fleming, Birkby & Goodall, I should like to see some specimens made by the powder they are producing, namely "Elo". Mr. Haldenby could also take up the matter with them of getting suitable presses.

Regarding using gas for the purpose of heating the moulds, I fear this would be too irregular, as some of the pieces might be under orover cured, resulting in failure, either in strength or insulating properties.
