N/W. c Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/NRC.{N. R. Chandler} Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}/MSW. 361. Br/C20/M.14-7-37. re. Chassis No. 3-BT{Capt. J. S. Burt - Engineer}-141. Sclater Booth (Hoopers Demonstration Car) This car is due in at any moment for various complaint jobs. We are proposing to fit one of the new high speed fans to it, directly the latter are available, which we understand is likely to be by the week-end - if the makers keep their promise. Mr Sclater Booth has also referred to clutch trouble. In view of his importance, and, the fact that the car is used for Demonstration purposes, we could ill-afford to let it go out again without fitting the new type clutch. Will you please, therefore, let us have a long-plate as soon as possible, so that we can hold it pending arrival of the car. Kindly confirm what you can do.
