666a + H009. To Mr. Waller, Hotel de France, Chateauroux, Indre, FRANCE. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}9/JH.9.8.39. Rear Road Spring Creaks. If a suitable opportunity presents itself will you please fill the grooves in the springs with a heavy grease such as Mobiloil 6. At present we have been assembling dry but it is thought that if the spring was packed with grease that sufficient might remain to prevent creacks in dry weather for say 10,000 miles. We are considering various other lubrication possibilities. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale} | ||
