Inspection report detailing faults and wear on a water pump, oil system, exhaust, and electrical components.

Water Pump.

Main Casing - Slight erosion on rotor face.
Inlet Casing - Slight erosion on cone section and slight wear on rotor seating.
Rotor - Approximately .0015" wear on shaft at gland section, and rust pitted at thrust end.

Oil Filter

General Condition good.

Oil Fittings.

The following pipes are rejected owing to Damage -

E.86826 - Pump to filter
E.86824 - R.{Sir Henry Royce} Valve to temperature regulator.
E.86825 - Filter to temperature regulator.

Oil Level Indicator.

Control Tubes (oil drain cock) rejected owing to distortion.

Exhaust Manifold.

One flange broken at slot.

Controls.

Intermediate throttle control shaft E.85874 bent at accelerator end - rejected.
Bracket. E.85876 (Throttle control shaft) cracked at bend - rejected.

ELECTRICAL UNITS.

Distributors.

Electrically good. Contact points worn. Small piece of bakelite chipped off bottom of distributor lead.

H.T. Wires.

Screw for B.II plug screen broken. This screw normally holds the H.T. wires in position.
Remainder of H.T. wires in good condition and satisfactory electrically.
