Notes cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} 4. What points are not yet finalised? Apparently the only point outstanding is the connecting rod bearing. 5. Steering Pivots and Minute 6 of the last Interim Meeting. 27-G-VI has the modification and it will be made as quickly as possible on the others. Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} says no low speed wobble on 27-G-VI. 6. 3rd Gear coming out of mesh. This has been cleared by means of the adoption of the P.III device. 7. Cars for Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} and Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} He's should be ready before Easter and Mx{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer}'s is being brought up-to-date now. 8. Servo Judder. This was said to have been cleared. 9. Policy re alterations for improvements. It was agreed again stressed that no alterations must take place on at least the first 300 chassis which would be noticeable to the customer. BENTLEY. 6-B-IV. 10. The Chateauroux 15,000 Miles report was gone through. The A.C.6 bearings which failed were made in a different way from those which have been standardised on P.III 'D' Series. Valve spring failure. We have not standardised the type which gave trouble. 11. Low Speed Wobble referred to at last meeting - the Experimental Department still have this in hand. | ||
