X8370 The alteration from rubber to flat steel springs as a means of introducing flexibility in the XXXX servo mechanism has run 3000 miles on 7-EX car, 4500 miles on 12-EX car and 2000 miles on 8-EX car. At the present time Depots are supplied with the present standard scheme by means of which flexibility is introduced by means of a rubber ring. This is being applied to customers cars which are complained of. The question of applying this retrospectively on all cars is being considered and BY. {R.W.
