With this type of Scraper Ring, as for the ordinary Slotted Scraper Ring, a requisite number of holes have to be provided through the bottom of the groove in the Piston to which the ring is fitted, so as to provide egress for the oil through the piston wall back into the engine sump.

As you are no doubt aware, we have recently completed the equipment of our new Works at Slough, and our already large output of Piston Rings is steadily increasing. By the special plant we have installed, and highly trained staff, both for production and inspection, we are able to-day to offer Piston Rings second to none as concerns price, quality and rapid delivery. Our Oil Control Rings, therefore, are in every way of the same high standard as the Piston Rings we have so successfully supplied for many years.

We shall be glad to receive your enquirieis, which will have our every attention.

Yours faithfully,
FOR THE LIGHT PRODUCTION CO.LTD
