Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} 300a 32-EX. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/R.23.7.37. With reference to the report of fuel starvation in Daily Report of 14th July, the attached report from Dixon indicates the conditions under which this trouble was experienced. Whilst in no way wishing to belittle the trouble, we would point out that at 31°C the driving compartment of the car is so uncomfortably hot that it is almost inconceivable that anybody touring would drive the car all out for long periods.
