R.{Sir Henry Royce} G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} SMITH. EDGWARE ROAD - CRICKLEWOOD - LONDON, N.W.2 14th February, 1939 S.H.Grylls, Esq., Messrs.Rolls-Royce Ltd., D E R B Y. Dear Mr.Grylls, I posted a letter yesterday to Mr.Bailey covering our conversation on Thursday last concerning the future supply of hydraulic jacks for your Rolls-Royce cars, and although I have no doubt you will have seen my letter by this time I attach, hereto, an impression of this for your information. I have also sent a copy to Mr.Alvey in order that he may be conversant with our proposals. With regard to the Bentley portable jacks, I understand you require a proper rubber grip on the handle of this, similar to that used on the larger systems. Also you would prefer this type of grip on our latest distributor box handle, if this is utilised. I have also made a note of your request that all correspondence relating to jack failures or investigations which we carry on direct with your Service Stations, should be confirmed to you and copies of correspondence sent. All these matters are having my personal attention. Yours very truly, [Signature] Director & General Manager. DWS/IKS | ||
