ALTERATIONS TO STANDARD

The inclusion of unauthorized alterations to Rolls-Royce standard productions may have disastrous results. The only authority for alterations in, or addition to design is the completed standardisation sheet.

The only authority for all other alterations is the Progress Committee. Any action which assists toward the production for standard of parts which have not been properly authorized by standardisation sheet or Progress Committee minutes is prohibited. The Managing Director will be forced to take most serious action if any employee disregards this instruction.

These regulations are for the purpose of safeguarding the excellence of Rolls-Royce products and their strict observance must be a point of honour with all Rolls-Royce employees.
