Amongst other things, the front springs are excessively short and would not be expected to stand the racket, and the rear springs are asked to do torque rod and radius rod work in addition to their road spring work for which they were intended.

The rough finish and the black shiny paint of the chassis made the finish look somewhat of the village blacksmith kind.

Moreover, I should certainly think, without looking at the carbur-etter, that the engine would not do a very great amount of work. There appear-ed{J. L. Edwards} to be two throats connected with the mixing chamber by bits of tubing which seem to have very small area for the amount of gas usually required by such an engine.
