-2- RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}/EG.1/DB.{Donald Bastow - Suspensions} 10.7.37. The 12 - 25/30 Cams I passed are to be despatched as quickly as possible, but a few of these are not as good as they ought to be and due to the total error of broaching now being thrown to the bore (i.e. Matravers is not grinding the roller journal diameters off the finished ground bore) I am not happy about the top bearing diameter of Steering Tube and probably the tubes will have to be set a little after pressing on cam. The tube being approximately 40" long this should not be serious. I again stressed the unsatisfactory state of the job. [Signature: G Cogswell] RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}/EG.
