1077 W/S. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}9/R.23.6.38. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} has handed me your letter MK7/ML.17.6.38. referring to the Lincoln Zephyr car. We should very much like to get hold of one of these cars for trial. To get a thorough figure of merit for it, we should require it for two days. If you know of any customer with such a car, who is philanthropically inclined to Rolls-Royce Ltd., possibly you might ask him if he would loan us his Lincoln Zephyr in exchange for an experimental car. I have tried the Lincoln Zephyr agents and they have not one to spare. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
