We brought this car back from France because we are so short of B.IIIs that unless we can keep this car running for development work we shall be unable to release material for the promised date. We would, therefore, ask you to do all you can to get the strip examination through as quickly as possible, and get the car re-built. We attach instructions for stripping. When an examination has taken place, if any controversial points arise, we have arranged that Waller is entirely responsible for this car and he should be referred to.
