Dear Sirs,

We have to acknowledge with thanks your letter of the 15th instant, addressed for the attention of our Asst. General Manager, referring to connecting rods and bearings which you hoped to despatch last week end.

It is noted that the bearings will be marked according to their respective rods, and care will be taken to ensure that they are not mixed or reversed in their housings.

In regard to Mr. Matthews being present when we are ready for test, we shall be very pleased to see him and will let him know the exact time in due course.

Yours faithfully,
p.p. LEYLAND MOTORS LIMITED.

Millington
Chief Engineer.
