re 40/50 H.P. Chassis 86-LK. {L. King} Captain Foljambe 44426 D {John DeLooze - Company Secretary} /BP/HF {H. W. Frost - Coachwork Inspector} 6/B28.5.24. The Hartford Shock Absorbers on this Chassis recently broke and were forwarded to Messrs. Andres for examination. Andres now write Capt.Foljambe that they are willing to supply one pair of type 108 Duplex Hartford Shock Absorbers for the difference in price of the 108 single type returned broken. Capt. Foljambe's driver states that the extra cost of the Duplex Hartford Shock Absorbers would be approximately 50/-, and they are agreeable to these being fitted with our consent. Will you therefore please inform us if you have had any experience of the Duplex type, and if you recommend their being fitted as suggested by Andre & Co.
