Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer}2/AP.4.11.37. BENTLEY III. REAR AXLE. Cases of damage to the axle casing on Bentley III. due to jacking up the car by the casing have occurred in Service. we therefore think that Bentley III. should have a ribbed casing and suggest that the one shown on GB.2203 with slight modifications to suit PD.40. should be included on the LOP. The pattern for this casing is already in existence and will not require alteration. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer} | ||
