| Steadman - Are you satisfied with this? Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} X359 To DY.{F R Danby} from E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner} SECRET. E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner}3/HP.9.9.35. c. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} SpectreCodename for Phantom III Wing Stay. We send you herewith:- LeC.4668 showing a modified fixing for the bottom of the wing stay where it joins the radiator. It will be remembered that in France this fixing became loose and was replaced by studs. Although the studs have remained secure they are not a practical proposition because it does not permit of us removing the radiator without taking down the wings as well. On LeC.4668 we have made the setscrews a size larger and checked them with a locking plate. LeC's 4668 herewith. E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner} | ||
