DEPARTMENTAL MEMO. Issued 4th November 1910 To C.J. 4/11/10 CJ12/D41110 If we can get a good back axle on 1800 would you like this sent up for the Show for demonstration of the absence of crankshaft vibration? I don't think anyone would notice the altered construction of the back axle. I thought of this this morning and am proceeding on these lines - of course pending your telephonic or telegraphic communication in the morning. Handwritten addition: Since writing this Mr Mcmald say, he could alter your present car's in the time telegraphed! fHR To F.H.R. 4.11.10. CJ13/C51110 Re absence of crankshaft vibration. Thank you very much indeed. I think that the one car which we have sent to Derby will be sufficient for demonstration purposes for the present. C.J.
