DEPARTMENTAL MEMO. Issued 2nd November 1910 This column is for Name of Person addressed. C.J. DATE. (2) has very slight rattles, and 1600, in which the rattles were developed to an unbearable amount, with the same compression in each case, it occurred to me that the heavy paper wheel which we now use compared with the light bronze wheel which was on the Knave, might have something to do with it, and that the vibrations seem to have considerably increased round about the date on which we increased the weight of this wheel. It seems as clear as daylight that this was one of the causes that demanded the spring drive and a stouter camshaft. F.H.R. This sheet must be filed with the correspondence to which it refers. | ||
