BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} C. 48600 DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}1/M22. 8.28. PHANTOM REAR WHEEL CARRIER. X.8600 X.7600 We are repeatedly told that the handle of the fixing bolt is very inaccessible in its present position between the body and the wheel. Mr. Royce has asked that we should use the same scheme as is fitted to his 'twenty' Coupe - 12-G4., and EAC.10. Would Derby please make a scheme shewing this applied to Phantom. Mr. Royce suggests a slight improvement, thus : The boss is lengthened so that the screwed portion of the bolt is never exposed. DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
