Y/3579 Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BY5-P21.12.22 [STAMP: RECEIVED Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} DEC 21 1922] The special form of nipple arranged for on the Autovac connections seems to be decidedly on the flimsy side. If you will examine an Autovac unit as it comes in you will find that a union nut on the small brass unit to be sweated to our pipe is supplied. The brassunion, or double cone is very thin and it seems to me that it is a thing that can be easily damaged. I would like to know whether you have any trouble with this particular piece, or whether you would like to reconsider it from the point of view of modifying the type of connection? BY.{R.W.
