E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X3579 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}7/LG19.9.22. 6.EX Car. X3923 X3579 With reference to your memo. E2/M18.9.22. We had considered fixing a Vacuum tank and we had in mind that the vacuum tank for the 40/50 should have double the capacity of the Goshawk. It is not convenient to put this size of tank on the engine side of the dashboard. We were contemplating cutting a large rectangular hole in the dashboard and allowing half the tank to stand through on the driver's side. There would be a flange formed all round the tank so as to stop all engine noises, smell and heat from the scuttle. Do you consider this the best way of doing it? Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
