This authority however, only provides for the ordering of material immediately on those sections for which we know there are likely to be no alterations. The programme, of course, should provide for eight of each Chassis per week - holidays to be reckoned at eight per week. With regard to the modifications on the 40/50 Chassis, I understand BJ. has asked Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} to let him know what new items will be included in "G" Series, and what items will be brought in in the second half of "F" Series. Regarding the various modifications mentioned in BY/Cgh{W Clough}20/G9.2.28, will BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} let me have, to forward to BJ., coach-builders Blue Prints of the Modified Steering Column, also of the Cast Dash. BJ. is hoping that we shall be able to bring in the Turbulent Head and the Integral Shutters in the second half of "F" Series. 1. INTEGRAL SHUTTERS. BJ. agrees to the £150 scrap to enable you to bring in the radiator with integral shutters in the second half of F-2 series, thus anticipating this improvement by 100 chassis. contd | ||
